UNC Greensboro scientist Wei Zhong, PhD, was awarded an elite Roger L. Jenkins, MD, Post doctoral Research Fellowship from the American Liver Foundation (ALF). The ALF Postdoctoral Research Fellowships provide professional development, additional training and experience in liver research for MDs, PhDs or MD/PhDs in their first or second year appointments as postdoctoral research fellows. Zhong is one of only ten scientists to receive the fellowship. She works in the UNC Greensboro Center for Translational Biomedical Research on the NC Research Campus. Read the full story.
