Public Information Meetings on Downtown Purchase Scheduled

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – City staff will present information on the purchase of 46 acres of downtown properties at three public meetings. The public meetings will be held on March 30, April 15 and April 20. All meetings will be held from 6-7 p.m. at the Train Station. The Train Station is located at 201 South Main Street.

The presentation will include information on what properties the City is purchasing, why acquire the property, and the steps the City will take to develop a strategic revitalization plan for downtown Kannapolis. At these meetings, citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the purchase of the downtown properties.
