NC Research Campus, Kannapolis, NC- June 19, 2012)– The North Carolina Research Campus (NCRC) in Kannapolis launched a new website this week. Still at www.ncresearchcampus.net, the enhanced site better captures the advances in human health, nutrition and agriculture that are continually being produced by the campus’ scientists.
New features include an expanded homepage with direct access to articles on the most recent research findings, information about research studies and enrollment, e-news subscriptions and news and events. The site’s newest section, Partners and Research, provides more details about the research programs of the 17 campus’ partners through articles, links to published research and videos. The new site fully integrates the campus’ social media on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Besides the campus’ monthly newsletter, Be Healthy!, there are subscription options for the new quarterly e-newsletters Opportunities, featuring business opportunities to become involved with the campus, Vitae, featuring published research of the campus’ scientists, and alerts for jobs postings and participating in research studies. The Explore section details the campus’ leadership and the features and amenities at the NCRC, in Kannapolis and in the greater Charlotte region.
“Our new website provides more information about the research at the NCRC then has previously been available,” said Lynne Scott Safrit, president of Atlantic American Properties and the North American Commercial Division of Castle and Cooke, the developers of the NCRC. “Through the web, e-newsletters and social media, people can stay abreast of the latest research findings, news and events that are changing how people think about health and nutrition and are leading the way to new options for treating and curing disease.”
