NCRC Start-Up Seeks to Stop Diabetes

Dr. Wenhong Cao, PhD, a researcher with the UNC Chapel Hill Nutrition Research Institute, launched a biotech start-up that is developing supplements and an at-home test for insulin resistance. The products are designed to stop diabetes long before it can develop. Cao is in the process of opening up his company’s lab in the NCRC’s ready-to-go laboratories in the David H.
