Dear Campus Colleague,

MURDOCK-DTMI joint logoGreetings from Duke University and the MURDOCK Study! For the first time, anyone who works at the North Carolina Research Campus can join the MURDOCK Study, regardless of where you live. We invite you to consider enrolling in this unique, community-based longitudinal health study during a special all-day event — the NCRC-MURDOCK Study Mass Enrollment to be held at DHMRI on Friday, Sept. 25.

If you work full-time or part-time in one of these buildings, you are eligible to enroll:

  • Core Laboratory
  • UNC NRI
  • NCSU PHHI
  • RCCC
  • Cabarrus Health Alliance
  • NCRC Medical Plaza
  • Sensory Spectrum
  • Data Chambers
  • City of Kannapolis

Download the MURDOCK-NCRC mass enrollment flyer to share and post.

Duke University staff will enroll NCRC employees from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the event room on the first floor of the DHMRI Core Lab Building. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage making an appointment by contacting us at 704-250-5861. You can then choose to begin the enrollment process online, which will save even more time at your appointment. Enrollment takes less than 30 minutes and includes a health history, medication form and donation of about 3 tablespoons each of blood and urine. If Sept. 25 is not convenient for you, individual enrollment is available during business hours every weekday at our new office in the NCRC Medical Plaza, located at 201 Dale Earnhardt Boulevard Suite 300.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to our colleagues and partners, yet another example of collaboration that makes the NCRC so unique. The work you do is already changing science, why not help us change medicine? More than 11,700 people have enrolled in the MURDOCK Study so far, and we would love to have you join us! To learn more, please visit www.murdock-study.org. Read about privacy and the MURDOCK Study here.

Have questions? Give us a call at 704-250-5861 or visit our information table near the UNC NRI Lettuce Eat Cafe on Sept. 14 and 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Kindest regards,

The Duke-MURDOCK Study Team
