Bananas For An Energy Boost

Dole BananasScientists with the Appalachian State University Human Performance Lab and the Dole Foods Nutrition Research Laboratory published findings in May in the peer-reviewed online journal PloS One that proved scientifically what professional and recreational athletes have long believed- bananas are a good source of energy when exercising. The study showed that bananas provide the same energy boost as sports drinks along with many other health benefits.
